In case you underestimated the amount of time it would take until Karrueche Tran would allow Chris Brown to come back into her life with open arms, she’s proving you all WRONG! Ms. Tran is “100% single” and focused on her acting and modeling career.
Karrueche, 27, stopped by BigBoy TV to discuss her relationship status with Chris Brown, his daughter, Rihanna and more. Ms. Tran seems so over and done with C. Breezy and in a pretty happy place, but if she ever runs into Chris, she’ll “definitely keep it cordial and positive, no drama.” She shared her reaction to the news of Royalty [Chris’ daughter], and had nothing but positive things to say about Rihanna.
The gorgeous model was very open about every question we all probably had. Check out the highlights below:
On her current status with Chris Brown:
“It’s no bitterness… I’ll say what’s up on some friends… ‘What up, my ni… ?’ (laughs) I mean, I’ll definitely keep it cordial and positive, no drama. I’m not about the drama.”
On trying to avoid Chris Brown:
“It’s hard, because, like… I make it so we won’t have to cross paths, so it’s not awkward. But I do get on Instagram, and there’s people like tagging us, or I’ll hear a song or something, you know, but it just, you know, I kinda just block it out.”
On finding about Chris Brown’s daughter with Nia Guzman:
“When it hit TMZ, I was like, ‘Oh.’ I called him and cussed him out. After the whole Rihanna thing, it’s been a year or whatever, we’ve been trying to fix what was broken, and that was just the icing on the cake. So I just had to completely part ways.”
Her thoughts of Rihanna:
“We just dated the same guy, and that’s kind of, you know, what it is. It’s always a competition thing, and they compare us, but she is Rihanna. She’s a pop star, and she’s beautiful. She makes great music, and I’m just me, and I’m growing and working into myself. So, there’s no, you can’t really compare us, because we’re two completely different girls.”
Karrueche also discussed her thought on her interview with Iyanla Vanzant. Check it out below:
