What’s done in the dark, always comes to light and the truth about Bill Cosby and those sexual allegations he’s been faced with in the past are finally coming to the forefront. More than a dozen women accused comedian/actor Bill Cosby of sexual assault and in an unsealed deposition that steamed from an old civil suit, those accusation seem to be true.
Andrea Constand, one of the dozen women assaulted by Cosby, filed the civil suit in 2005 and in the deposition Cosby admitted to purchasing a powerful methaqualone known as Quaalude with the intent of giving it to young women he wanted to have sex with. The unsealed records of this case were released Monday after the Associated Press requested that they be released. Cosby, 77, fought for the documents to not be released, arguing that it would violate his and others’ privacy.
Janice Dickinson, one of the women sexually assaulted by Bill Cosby, isn’t satisfied with Cosby’s admission. She tells TMZ that an apology isn’t enough; he’s a “mass rapist” and owes her and his fans. Beverly Johnson, another victim, is happy that her voice and the voice of other women had been heard.
And to add to those whose taking a stand against Bill Cosby, Walt Disney World Resort on Orlando, Florida has removed Cosby’s statue in response to a petition that was issued.
Cosby’s camp has yet to respond to the allegations that’s taken place.
