Charmayne ‘Maxee’ Maxwell of Brownstone Dies At 46

The 90’s R&B group, Brownstone, has lost a member due to an unfortunate accident. Charmayne ‘Maxee’ Maxwell died from a fatal fall, TMZ reports. The singer attended a soccer game in Denmark on Saturday where she fell and later died. Some sources say that family members are looking into whether this was a suicidal attempt.

Her brother, Brandon, confirmed her death via twitter:

Brownstone rose to fame with their his singles “If You Love Me” after being signed to Michael Jackson’s MJJ label in 1995. The original group consisted of Monica “Mimi”, Nichole “Nicci” Gilbert, and Charmayne Maxwell.

Charmayne is survived by her husband/Danish music producer Carsten Soulshock Schack and son. While the story of her death is still developing, we will continue to lift her family in prayer.
