It’s been nearly 5 months since 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in the bathtub at her home. Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of late singer Whitney Houston, has been fighting for her life since January 31st, but now her battle is coming to an end. The family released a statement on Wednesday on the conditions of Bobbi Kristina.
“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate. As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now,” her aunt and co-guardian, Pat Houston, shared.
Although the extent of Bobbi Kristina’s injuries was never really made public, her grandmother said that she has irreversible brain damage. They family has decided to move her hospice care where their focus is primarily on providing comfort to patients with terminal conditions instead of trying to cure them.
Her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, was one of the two people that found her faced down in the tub. It’s been said that a conservator for Brown has filed a lawsuit against the man who was once described as her husband. Conservator Bedelia C. Hargrove filed the suit in Superior Court of Fulton County in Georgia. Gordon is being accused of physically abusing Bobbi Kristina moments before she was found in her tub and improperly withdrawing $11,000 from her bank account after she was in a coma.
Nick Gordon’s camp has yet to respond, however he did send out a tweet stating, “We keep praying she has fought hard this long don’t give up.”
