2 Chainz Sued For $5 Million After Thot Video Went Viral - robin rachae

Do you remember when 2 Chainz put a young lady on blast by continuously referencing her as a “thot” on a video that went viral? Well, she definitely sued that ass for humiliating her and now the “I’m Different” rapper may have to hand over $5 million dollars.

Christine Chisholm was invited backstage at 2 Chainz show on March 20, 2014 by rapper Cap 1. However, when she arrived backstage 2 Chainz entourage denied knowing her and her new name was given – THOT or “That Ho Over There.” Chisholm filed a lawsuit against 2 Chainz [Tauheed Epps] and Cap 1 [Ro’Zay Richie] with claims that the video severely damaged her reputation. TMZ reports that within the first two weeks that the video was posted, it received 10 million views, causing Chisholm to lose her job at the barbershop where she worked. Her manager believed that the video would bring negative publicity to the shop.

The video was posted to 2 Chainz blog and other websites using the hash tag #isthatyothot.   Chisholm says that being called a ho publicly by a rap artist has created public abuse and harassment. She is requesting $5 million from the rapper. The lawsuit was file in Mecklenburg County Superior Court in June. An attorney for 2 Chainz has requested that the case be moved to federal court in July.
